Another busy day!
We has such a productive day (for once!) Corey was off with us today, so while he watched Milo, I went up in the attic and dragged down a bunch of crap we don't use anymore and put it outside for free. After I was done busting my hump with that, Corey went outside and did some car stuff and started patching up our neglected driveway.
We ended up going to lowe's for more driveway repair stuff, and then spent this afternoon finishing that up. Now all we have to do is seal it. Meanwhile, lots of people came by and took our stuff, so now I don't have to lug all the junk back up in the attic. It was mostly furniture this time around, random chairs, junky particle board bookshelves, our old coffee table that weighs a ton, some of Milo's outgrown things, like his little potty chair. Why do things weigh so much more when they are over your head? I had to wrestle the stuff through the attic hatch, which meant using my nonexistent upper body strength = exhausting.
Milo had fun helping me with the "yard sale," and later with helping with the driveway patching. He also came with me to drop some stuff off at Grandpa Bob's and Grandma Carolynn's. Quinn came along for the ride too...that dog loves to go for rides in the back of the truck. Too bad he makes so much noise once we get to our destination. Quinn worries that I'm going to leave him behind and so puts up a major fuss if I walk more than three feet away from him, when we are out in public. He can be quite deafening.
All in all, a great day! And now I am off to watch Desperate Housewives and clip the dogs' toenails. Yep...I'm always multitasking, that's how I manage to cram so much into my weekends :)
