Milo and Monet

A boy and his kitty, watching Saturday morning cartoons together. It doesn't get better than that. And the fact that Monet hung out with Milo for as long as she did that day: Amazing!

Lily loves her tube

We don't bother buying our dogs normal toys. They have to make do with whatever they scrounge up in the yard. Lily has adopted this piece of black plastic pipe as her own. When we're outside, Lily is never far from her tube. All you have to do is say "Lily, go get your tube!" and she happily runs to it and then prances all about the yard with it hanging out of her maw like a giant cigar.

By the way, the dogs do have oodles of toys, but both of them are much happier playing with sticks and garbage. Just like lil' kids!

Hey Ladies

You know you want to kiss me!

Milo thinks these fake teeth are da bomb. It is pretty hilarious when he turns around to talk to you and you're not expecting those teeth. Who knew someone could have so much fun with something he got out of a quarter machine?

Every time Milo pops these teeth in and talks to us, it reminds of the scene from A Christmas Story, where all the kids in Ralphie's class have fake teeth, and they say "Good morning, Miss Shields." to the teacher. It's all Miss Shields can do to keep from busting a gut as she holds out her hand and the kids have to file forward and give her their teeth, which she deposits in a drawer full of other kid jokes like chattery teeth.
